Studio La Cave Coopérative works with artists at our physical location or recently often via remote distributed sessions with artists and studio partners. On location the focus is on acoustic instruments and vocals.
Tracking
For tracking our philosophy is particular attention must be paid to ensure quality and integrity at the source. We take great care to use the highest quality microphones, microphone preamplifiers and analogue to digital converters.
Mixing
All of our mixing is done within the digital domain in the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). An unparalleled ability to edit, redo and recall leveraging modern software technology makes this a logical choice. Not to mention, everything can remain faithful to the original sound.
Finally
Equipment choices (professional high-end devices are a given) and methods are simply a means to an end. The only thing that matters is the quality of the end product and the satisfaction of the client.
